Art should be easy to enjoy however you browse. We build this site to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or a phone in bright sunlight — and we keep working at it.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as our standard. That shapes how the whole site is built.
What that means here
- Every interactive element works with a keyboard, and the focus outline is always visible.
- Images carry descriptive alt text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings and lists follow a real document structure, so screen readers can navigate the page.
- Text is sized in relative units and holds its contrast against its background.
- Motion respects your “reduce motion” setting — animations quiet down if you've asked your device to.
Still improving
Accessibility is never finished. As the store and new features come online, we test each one and fix what we find. If you hit a barrier, we want to know — it helps us make the site better for the next person.
