Every piece starts as an original, and my limited-edition prints are created from it. Some of those prints I embellish by hand.

The original
Each original is a unique mixed-media work, thoughtfully composed with layers of hand-cut papers, paint, and unexpected details.

2 · Edition of 125
The signed giclée print
Limited-edition giclée prints of 125, produced in Sarasota and individually signed and numbered.
Available on canvas, or framed with a textured liner and your choice of whitewash, gray, or silver moulding. I add texture on top of the framed prints with a varnish that protects them from UV rays, so there is no need for glass. Three sizes of each.

3 · Embellished by hand
The hand-embellished print
A signed giclée that I collage and paint on top of by hand, always with lots of small pieces of paper. These are reproductions, but by adding original elements, each one is unique.
Mostly found at my shows. Let me know if there's a particular piece you'd like to see, and I'll do my best to have it there for you!

The word

So what is a giclée?

Say “zhee-CLAY”. It's the fine-art word for a print made on a high-resolution inkjet press with archival pigment inks on archival paper or canvas — the standard museums and galleries use for reproductions. The color is faithful, the detail is sharp, and the inks are rated to last decades without fading.

Signed and numbered — by hand, one of 125 per image. When they're gone, they're gone.
Finished, not just printed — a raised, textured varnish keeps the layered feel of the paper — which is why there's no glass and no glare.
Ready to hang — framed with a textured liner and your choice of moulding, or gallery-wrapped canvas. Packed by the studio and shipped by UPS.

Why it reads in person

The original casts shadows. The print keeps the feel.

On the original, every cut edge stands off the surface and catches real light. A giclée is flat by nature — so Jennifer finishes each one with a raised varnish that gives the surface back its texture. An embellished print goes one step further: she collages real paper back on top, by hand.
