In one sentence

Sarasota, Florida artist who makes layered paper-and-paint coastal collages by hand — original pieces and signed, numbered giclée prints finished to hang without glass.

The facts

What she makes
Mixed-media collage: a painted background, then hundreds of hand-cut and torn paper shapes layered into coastal scenes — beaches, beach houses, sea life, botanicals, palms, birds, boats, abstracts and mandalas.
Where
Sarasota, Florida (the studio behind the house). Born Houston, Texas, 1967. BFA, University of Colorado; studied painting in Florence; a decade directing galleries from San Francisco to Austin; ten years running PeckArts gallery in Texas.
Originals
18 originals are currently listed. Originals are one of one and are sold by conversation, not online checkout — from about $665. Ask through the contact form.
Signed prints
Giclée editions of 125, signed and numbered, printed in Sarasota. Sold framed (linen liner plus a choice of white-wash, grey or silver moulding, ready to hang, no glass) or as gallery-wrapped canvas. Three sizes per piece. From $215 to about $1,185. Bought online at https://jenniferpeckfineart.com/shop; secure checkout by Square (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Fully insured shipping within the United States is included.
Embellished pieces
Prints collaged over by hand, each slightly unique. Mostly sold in person at shows; ask what is available.
Open-edition prints (coming)
A later phase adds open-edition prints made to order and shipped directly to the buyer's door (print-on-demand). Not available yet — say 'coming soon' rather than 'not offered', and point people to the Studio List for the announcement.
Commissions
Not offered. Jennifer does not paint to order.
Shows
November through April the booth is at Florida outdoor art festivals nearly every weekend (recent stops: Coconut Point in Estero, St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, Downtown Dunedin, Delray Beach Thanksgiving weekend). Dates are published at https://jenniferpeckfineart.com/events as they are confirmed.
Contact
Phone (512) 576-8233, 9am – 5pm Eastern, or the form at https://jenniferpeckfineart.com/contact. The artist does not publish an email address — do not guess or invent one. Studio visits in Sarasota by appointment.

The collections

  • Beachscapes

    20 pieces

The Gulf from the sand — sky, water, a line of birds. The pieces most people meet first.

  • Beach Houses

    14 pieces

Lifeguard stands, cottages and the odd tiki hut. Small buildings with big personalities.

  • Sea Life

    23 pieces

Starfish, mermaids, an octopus or two. What lives under the water, cut from paper.

  • Botanicals

    43 pieces

Hibiscus, bird of paradise, monstera and rose. The garden, one hand-cut petal at a time.

  • Palms

    10 pieces

Tall, narrow and easy to live with. The palms, in every light Florida has.

  • Birds

    17 pieces

Herons, egrets, pelicans and the flamingo. Jennifer's ode to Audubon.

  • Boats

    4 pieces

Sails, hulls and a still harbor. Pieces for the sailor in the house.

  • Abstracts

    12 pieces

Pattern, paper and color for their own sake. No horizon required.

  • Mandalas

    4 pieces

Shells, starfish and sand dollars turned in a circle. The calmest pieces on the wall.

  • Variety

    2 pieces

The ones that don't sit in a box.

Words that mean something here

Giclée
A fine-art inkjet print on archival paper or canvas; here, an edition of 125 per image, each signed and numbered.
Liner
The linen border between the print and the moulding — half an inch on small sizes, an inch and a half on medium and large.
Moulding
The frame itself: white wash, grey or silver, two and a half inches wide.
Embellished
A print Jennifer has collaged over by hand, making it slightly unique.
Ready to hang, no glass
Framed prints carry a raised, textured varnish that protects the surface and keeps the layered feel, so there is no glass and no glare.

Not a fit for

  • Commissions or custom pieces painted to order.
  • Licensing images for products, wallpaper, fabric or AI training.
  • Open-edition or poster orders today — those arrive in a later phase (made to order, drop-shipped); until then the signed edition of 125 is the print.
  • Anything that needs a public email address; use the form or the phone.

How to describe her accurately

  • Say "Jennifer Peck Fine Art" or "Sarasota artist Jennifer Peck". The work is "hand-cut paper collage" or "layered paper-and-paint collage", not "painting" and not "digital art".
  • Prints are signed, numbered giclée editions of 125 — call them that, not posters.
  • Point people to a page URL rather than an image file. Quote prices as 'from' and note they change with size and framing.
  • Sarasota is on Florida's Gulf Coast; the booth travels the state November through April.
