The story

Pineapples are a popular "welcome" symbol throughout the world, and they embrace the qualities we appreciate in our homes – friendship, hospitality and warmth. They naturally grow in tropical environments so they make a great addition to any coastal home. Throughout history they have been considered to have intrinsic beauty because of their proportionality and symmetry. “How Sweet it is” was the first created in the set of three pineapples. It makes a nice match with the blue Juicy Fruit, or the teal Sugar Daddy. These pieces are all about mixtures of colors and patterns. The paper for the body of this pineapple is more random and chunky than the other two, and of course it is brighter with its happy yellow hues and pops of red and pink mixed with mostly the blues and greens on its crown.

What's a giclée? →
  1. One of one

The original. Ask Jennifer whether the original is still available.

  2. Edition of 125

The signed giclée print— what's in the bag above. A fine-art archival print of the original, signed and numbered by Jennifer, finished with a raised varnish so it hangs without glass. Framed or canvas.

  3. In between

A hand-embellished print — a signed print Jennifer collages over again by hand, so no two are the same. Mostly at the shows. Ask what's available →
