The story
Pineapples are a popular "welcome" symbol throughout the world, and embrace the qualities we appreciate in our homes – friendship, hospitality and warmth. They naturally grow in tropical environments so they make a great addition to any coastal home. Throughout history they have been considered to have intrinsic beauty because of their proportionality and symmetry. “Juicy Fruit” was the second created in the set of three pineapples. It makes a nice match with the yellow ”How Sweet it is” and the teal “Sugar Daddy”. These pieces are all about mixtures of colors and patterns.The layered papers in the body of this pineapple are more organized and smaller than the other two. “Juicy Fruit” has navy hues with pops of yellow and orange on its crown grounded by tans and browns in the table it is resting on.
