The story
The Nature Series was inspired by the many beautiful leftover papers I've created and saved after making other pieces. I do not end up using every flower or leaf that I make, and at the same time I also end up with some very interesting negative shapes and scraps after I’m finished with a collage. These pieces of paper are far too intriguing to go in the trash! So over the years, I have collected these papers, and this fall had the opportunity to up-cycle them into new more abstract pieces. These are definitely a departure from my typical work, but they were super fun to make, and I hope you can feel the joy I had creating these when you look at them. They will make wonderful sets, or choose your favorite and it will make a fabulous statement on its own!
