The story

Many people ask, “Who is Cisco?” Cisco is a character from a Jimmy Buffet book titled Tales from Margaritaville. For years I’ve searched all over in lyrics and in books for text and words that are happy, joyful and describe beach life. His books are perfect as they have lots of juicy island lifestyle words. I use small parts of pages to build, in this instance, a beach cottage or bungalow. I imagine these words filling the house, or telling the story of what goes on inside. I envision this being Cisco’s hideout, where he comes to escape and get peaceful by the sea.

What's a giclée? →
  1. One of one

The original. Ask Jennifer whether the original is still available.

  2. Edition of 125

The signed giclée print— what's in the bag above. A fine-art archival print of the original, signed and numbered by Jennifer, finished with a raised varnish so it hangs without glass. Framed or canvas.

  3. In between

A hand-embellished print — a signed print Jennifer collages over again by hand, so no two are the same. Mostly at the shows. Ask what's available →
