I've always loved the colorful patterns created by beach umbrellas, palm trees and waves when viewed from above, but this time I decided to take a few steps further back. This piece is made entirely of tiny pieces of paper, some so small I found myself reaching for tweezers and fingernail clippers to put them in place! Look closely and you'll discover bits of text tucked into the palm trees, scattered across the sand and even floating in the water. These are messages that I hope inspire you and open up your imagination to how you connect to this piece.
I imagine these lucky beach dwellers have their own little version of high society, a seaside club where the dress code is swimsuits, and social calendars revolve around the tides. Membership only requires being a beach lover and being fortunate enough to spend time on beautiful stretch of coastline!

Every frame is a 2½ in moulding in Ivory Wash, Dove Grey or Warm Silver, around a white textured liner.
The framed size is the artwork plus the liner and the moulding on every side. The medium, across: 24 in artwork + 2 in liner × 2 + 2½ in moulding × 2 = 33 in.
Canvas: small 16 × 24 in · medium 24 × 36 in · large 30 × 45 in. Gallery-wrapped, no frame needed.
Every size arrives ready to hang, no glass needed.

A giclée is a fine-art print of the original, professionally printed with pigmented archival ink in Sarasota. Each one is signed and numbered by Jennifer, in a limited edition of 125 across all sizes.
It is finished with a raised varnish, so it hangs without glass.
Hand-embellished prints, signed prints Jennifer collages over again by hand so no two are alike, are sold at her shows.
