The story
This piece was part of the Changes in Latitude series where I explored coastal life as it changes from way under the deep blue sea, up though the teals and greens and schools of fish, to the shoreline, along all the beach houses, and up to the sunset sky. Lots of blues, turquoise and peaches fill up this piece, with the colorful little beach cottages as an accent, suggesting human life is just one small part of the picture. Looking at coastal living from a view under the sea gives us a little glimpse at what goes on down there. For those of us confined to living on the surface, the fact that our world is mostly covered in water is a well known fact. This piece suggests a similar proportion with some perspective on how much more significant the ocean is!
