Delray, we're coming your way

Delray Affair

April 10-12 — find us between NE 4th and NE 5th on Atlantic, facing south in front of Kilwins (Booth # A437).

Jennifer stands in her festival booth among framed coastal collages — a cresting wave, beach umbrellas from above, an ice cream cone stack

Nicknamed the "Greatest Show under the Sun", the Delray Affair is one of the largest arts festivals in the Southeast United States. The event takes place along the palm tree lined downtown streets of Delray Beach and stretches 7 city blocks. The Delray Affair has received numerous awards for its 'eclectic' mixture of art, great crafts and funky products from around the world. Artists and crafters from all around the US exhibit at the Delray Affair. Visit the Delray Affair as you stroll the streets of The Most Fun Small Town in US!

Wild at Heart

Every now and then you just want to try something different and new! As an artist, it's important for me to do this, to learn and stretch beyond my comfort zone. I've enjoyed creating this small series of Wild Things!

In these pieces I'm simply concentrating on color, form and composition, and feeling playful!

I hope these bring a smile to your face, and joy to your heart.

Originals and giclee prints available.

Sunny Days

Jennifer cuts paper at her studio worktable, the large framed Sunny Days beach-cove collage laid out before her

Oh, those long gorgeous days at the beach are the best! The ones where you're there long enough to totally wind down, feel the soft wind and water and listen to the waves and birds. On these days, under the warmth of the sun, you can freely experience your connection with nature. It feels like taking a deep breath, visually and mentally, because the landscape is so simple. There's the scale of the sky and the strength of the horizon that offer an openness we don't often encounter.

For many years, at the center of my artist statements, has always been a desire to express this experience. I try to hold on to this feeling, and bring it back with me into the studio. Although my work has evolved to encompass more elements of coastal life, in "Sunny Days" I've returned to my roots! My hope is to bring this spirit to life in this joyful scene, through collaging small pieces of all kinds of paper, piece by piece, layer by layer, and offer it to you!
