The story

I’ve been asked to do a mermaid for years. I couldn't quite wrap my head around how to satisfy my customers and stay true to myself and my work. Making the typical mermaid was not of interest. Making Tall Tails, as well as Sirena in a more elusive style appealed to me though! I wanted a nice partner for Sirena, and this piece depicts this fancy mermaid from underwater. Isn’t seeing a mermaid one of the Tall Tales of the Sea?

Three ways to own this piece

What's a giclée? →
  1. One of one

The original. Has found its home with a collector.

  2. Edition of 125

The signed giclée print— what's in the bag above. A fine-art archival print of the original, signed and numbered by Jennifer, finished with a raised varnish so it hangs without glass. Framed or canvas.

  3. In between

A hand-embellished print — a signed print Jennifer collages over again by hand, so no two are the same. Mostly at the shows. Ask what's available →
