The layers read best up close.
Venice opens my season, the way it has for years. The tent goes up on West Venice Avenue, and the work I made over the summer meets people for the first time. A photo can't show you the layers: the cut edges standing off the surface, the texture of the paper, the way the color shifts as you walk past. Come see them up close. Steve and I will be in the tent.
