New work

Long horizontal collage of a paper-pieced sea in deep blues meeting pale sand, five patterned beach umbrellas along the shore.
"Vitamin Sea" ~ 24x60

"Vitamin Sea"

So many of you have asked for pieces with the darker blue water you find on the east coast of Florida and up north, so here you go! This is similar to Life's a Beach, but in a long and skinny shape. Within the piece, if you look up close, you'll find all kinds of little surprising pictures and text. I hope it's pleasing to the eye from afar and filled with wonder up close. I like this title because it is so apropos, a day at the beach seems to have some magical power making us feel so healthy and renewed! 24x60

"Scoop, There It Is!"

"Scoop, There It Is!" ~ 10x40

This is a piece I've had on my mind forever, I can't explain why. Thank god Art doesn't need to make sense! It's fun and silly and I love this new tall shape. There's lots of dripping ice cream in the background, and plenty of yummy colors. What's your favorite flavor? 10x40

From the studio

Jennifer leans over the long beach collage on her work table, gluing blue paper waves beside the finished sandy shore.
The ice cream cone canvas mid-build on the studio table, surrounded by colorful cut paper scraps and two pairs of scissors.
Striped paper beach-umbrella tops cut out and laid across the kraft-covered work table, scissors at the ready.
Close-up of blue paper waves printed with tiny swimmers and pool floats; one strip reads 'the ocean and me'.
Detail of the collage's sandy beach — layered cream and gold paper strips of lace, sheet music, florals, and the word 'Love'.

I am always posting progress pics from the studio offering an insight into my process. You'll find pics of my work installed in clients' homes, and show details.

Meet my new boy: The Lone Ranger!

He's a mini Australian Shepherd. This was his first day at the beach, and he loves the ocean!

If you are not able to make it to a show, you can browse all works at www.Jenniferpeckfineart.com. I am always adding new pieces to the collection! Delivery on framed giclees is about 3 weeks. Orders for original embellished giclees will take around 8-12 weeks. Originals can be shipped within the week.
