Open studio is this weekend

Happy holidays to you and yours!

We are excited to invite you to our first open studio!

  • Saturday, Dec 10th ~ 12 to 6
  • Sunday, Dec 11th ~ 12 to 4

As many of you know, we recently built a wonderful new art studio behind our home. For the first time, I am opening up my creative space so you can see all my materials and process up close. I'm right in the middle of composing and collaging two new originals!

I will be showing some of my most popular work, as well as some more unusual pieces that you may have not seen before. Just for this weekend, I will be offering special pricing on many select items ... and there will be a drawing for a piece of art both days!

Come join us for a glass of wine, lite bites, and lots of art.

Layered paper collage of a bay at sunset — deep blue water with golden reflections, tall grasses on green banks, gold-streaked sky.
"There You Go Again Turning Golden" ~ made entirely of paper, 24x48.

"There You Go Again Turning Golden" ~ For those of you living on the back bays and lovers of the wetlands, this one's for you! The serenity of a bay is so unique, especially at sunset, teeming with wildlife and tall flowing grasses. The water is a deeper blue and its calmer surface offers wonderful reflections.

This title is inspired by the song "Golden" by Becca Mancari. I thought these lyrics were fitting for the wonderful golden sunsets we have around here!

But there you go again turning golden / Right there in front of me / And I can't even seem to fight it / You're always going gold again for me

This original piece, made entirely of paper, is 24x48 in a gorgeous float frame, and prints will be available soon! Please inquire. See works in progress pictures below.

Jennifer peels the backing from a gold honeycomb paper strip for the collage's sunset sky, torn yellow strips covering the table.

I am always adding new pieces to the collection! Delivery on framed giclees is about 3 weeks. Orders for original embellished giclees will take around 8-12 weeks. Originals can be shipped within the week.

Jennifer arranges patterned-paper leaves in blues, corals, and greens for a large pineapple collage on a dotted white board.
