The story

I finally made a set of jelly fish in 2019, after years of thinking about their tentacles, and how I would make them. I use lots of textured and sparkly ribbon and these thin pieces mixed in with curly strips of paper make the graceful tentacles. I spent a great deal of time getting the background right. I used layers of Golden liquid acrylics to achieve this watery feel. This particular species has a protein that causes its bioluminescence which causes then to sparkle and look like a reflective crystal at night!

What's a giclée? →
  1. One of one

The original. Ask Jennifer whether the original is still available.

  2. Edition of 125

The signed giclée print— what's in the bag above. A fine-art archival print of the original, signed and numbered by Jennifer, finished with a raised varnish so it hangs without glass. Framed or canvas.

  3. In between

A hand-embellished print — a signed print Jennifer collages over again by hand, so no two are the same. Mostly at the shows. Ask what's available →
