The story
There is actually a jellyfish that’s immortal. They are one of the few known cases of animal that can transform it cells and become young again, over and over. I wonder what we can learn from this creature? This is part of the set created in 2019, after years of thinking about their tentacles and how I would make them. I used lots of textured and sparkly ribbon and these thin pieces mixed in with curly strips of paper make the graceful tentacles. I spent a great deal of time getting the background right. I used layers of Golden liquid acrylics to achieve this watery feel.
