The story
You may know the old Van Morrison song by this title. Sailing “Into the Mystic” seems so peaceful and romantic! The simplicity of this piece is what makes it a favorite. So often, less is more! This gray-blue water stands out the most on this piece with an active shoreline. The drips and dribbled white paint splashes create planned chaos along the waterline. You’ll find sheet music and small text in the trunks of the palm where words like happy, love and friend become part of the piece. The palms sway in the breeze, as you hear the calls of the seagulls, and the sunshine on the water. This piece is calming, and perfect over a bed or in a dining area in any coastal home.
“Hark, now hear the sailors cry Smell the sea and feel the sky Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic ” Van Morrison
