The story

This piece was inspired by a recent trip to this magical Greek Island. The water there in that part of the Mediterranean is a rich beautiful indigo blue. Often on the rocky and sandy shores there are boats brightly colored resting in the warm sun, and always there is a strong breeze.
Small fishing boats are all over Greece, bobbing around the horizon, filled with the catch of the day you see them bringing in at sunset to all the hungry seaside diners. So finally two years later I made this piece. This collage is unique because all the paper I used I tore, instead of cut. Although this was more time consuming, the result is this very soft more organic look. I hope this piece takes you to your own far away paradise!
