The story

I've been influenced by the Spanish artist, Regina Saura, and here is a coastal version inspired by her work. I like to use text in my pieces because they suggest a conversation that may be happening in the piece. The viewer can use these words as a jump start for their own imagination. The painted bunting is from a series I had created with the song birds of Texas. She was so colorful - she belonged in this scene! She may be a messenger of something, of what I’m not certain, but you can answer that for yourself. The warm sun shines on and pervades the scene while the colorful cocktails and juicy fruit are just waiting for the guests of this picnic to join in!

Three ways to own this piece

What's a giclée? →
  1. One of one

The original. Ask Jennifer whether the original is still available.

  2. Edition of 125

The signed giclée print— what's in the bag above. A fine-art archival print of the original, signed and numbered by Jennifer, finished with a raised varnish so it hangs without glass. Framed or canvas.

  3. In between

A hand-embellished print — a signed print Jennifer collages over again by hand, so no two are the same. Mostly at the shows. Ask what's available →
